.."Well, honey, I remember when my sister fell off the..

paddlewheel boat. She got hit by some of the wheel, and came close to dying. We fished her out, and pumped the water out of her. We couldn't perform cpr, because it wasn't around yet. And then one day, it just all came back to her, as sure and easy as opening a book. And that's all there is to it, honey, our minds are like big libraries with lots of books and one of those books has the key to curing your amnesia. You just have to get the right book, George."
"I'm trying, May, I just hope I can get some understanding of these dreams soon."

Jessica started coming less often, instead of the everyday she started coming, she ended up on just tuesdays and saturdays. She was working at an herb shop called The Emerald Dragon, with gargoyles and incense. She came in smelling of patchouli, or jasmine. The jasmine was the sweetest, and I loved smelling it on her. I would talk with her about the missing days in my memory, but she said I lived in a different world than anybody else, that I would write weird things in notebooks, telling her to guard them with all her life. She brought them in for me on her next visit, a tuesday. Jessica had to leave immediately after dropping them off, she said that she had a job interview at Dairy Queen.
"What's that?" asked May, shaking nervously.
"Oh, stuff I wrote during the missing days," I replied, handing her the notebook. "I hope it can jog my memory."
She starts looking through it, "This doesn't make any sense," she smiles. "But at the same time, it's neat. It's a story, isn't it?"
I leaned a bit in my bed, looking at the notebook she was holding.

..She pointed at part of it written in columns..
